I have an escape artist on my hands. At 9 months the boy opened the register on the hardwood floor and threw down his brand new fork and spoon. He has opened childproof medicine, the child safety gates are a piece of cake, and now he can open every lock on every door. So what's a mother to do? Hotel style door locks on all the doors.
I was giddy with excitement when my husband put these up. There would be no more escaping children. My excitement faded when less than 12 hours I saw this.
Now you will probably tell me he can't reach yet and I say "yet" is the key word. Any takers on how long it takes for him to figure it out?
